Alanna L. Sullivan
Founder & CEO | Sullivan House

Alanna L. Sullivan brings a rare blend of business acumen, clinical expertise, and personal purpose to her role as Founder and CEO of Sullivan House. Originally a corporate business manager, Alanna transitioned into the field of psychotherapy after confronting the stark limitations of mental health housing while supporting her own brother, who lives with severe mental illness. That experience exposed the painful gaps in care—not just for individuals in need, but for the families left to carry the weight in silence. Determined to be part of the solution, Alanna created a mission-driven company that uplifts both clients and their loved ones, offering relief, dignity, and a path forward.
Her work is deeply rooted in advocacy for those who are too often overlooked: individuals stuck on endless waitlists, adult children seeking independence without support, and those who fall into the “in-between”—not eligible for government programs, yet unable to thrive on their own. Sullivan House exists to meet those needs with compassion, structure, and high standards of care, driven by Alanna’s firsthand understanding of how isolating and exhausting the journey can be—for everyone involved.
Alanna holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Social Work, reflecting her ongoing commitment to both personal growth and systemic change. Outside of her professional life, she’s a proud mother of two, an avid writer and horseback rider, and someone who thrives on new challenges—whether in fitness, creative pursuits, or leadership. Her integrative, heart-forward approach to healing defines the culture of Sullivan House and continues to shape a more inclusive future for mental health care.
